Hot Beverage:

Sweet & Spicy Ham Glaze


  • 40-50 whole cloves

  • Large smoked and cured Ham

  • 1/3                                          mustard

  • 1 cup                                       orange juice

  • ½ cup                                      maple syrup

  • 2 drops                                    Fosstevia Liquid

  • Push cloves into ham, spacing about 1 inch apart until entire ham is covered with the cloves.

  • Whisk remaining ingredients together in a small pot. Bring to a boil and sim until the glaze thickens.

  • Brush onto ham and bake the ham. Continue to brush glaze onto ham every 15 minutes during baking time or until glaze is gone.

String Beans Rustica


  • 2 pounds                                             fresh string beans

  • 1 cup                                                   olive oil

  • 2 medium                                            yellow onions

  • 1 garlic

  • Salt and pepper                                   according to taste

  • 1 tomato                                              skinned, seeded and chopped

  • 3 tsp                                                    chopped parsley

  • 1 tsp                                                    oregano

  • 2 g                                                       Stevia Sachets

  • Remove ends of string beans and heat them in oil in heavy saucepan.

  • Add onions and garlic and cook until they become soft. Add salt and pepper.

  • Add beans, tomatoes, parsley, oregano and stevia sweetener. Stir them to combine all ingredients.

  • Bring them to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for about half an hour. It will give 8 servings.

String Beans Rustica


  • 1 lb.                                         Fresh spinach (rinsedwith stems removed)

  • ½ lb.                                        Bacon

  • ¼ cup                                      Salad oil

  • ½ tsp                                       Salt

  • 1 g                                           Stevia Sachet

  • ½ to ¼ red onion (thinly sliced)

  • 1 hardboiled egg (diced)

  • Remove stems from spinach and rinse to remove any soil.  

  • In heavy skillet, fry bacon until it gets crispy. Remove and drain bacon. Save two tablespoons of the drippings. Crumble bacon into small bits. Set it aside.

  • Combine reserved bacon drippings, salad oil, red wine vinegar, salt, stevia sweetener and pepper in a small saucepan. Heat and stir it. After sometime remove it from heat.

  • Pile a handful of spinach onto each serving plate. Sprinkle it with the bacon bits, onions slices and hardboiled egg.

  • Drizzle it with warm dressing and serve immediately. Sliced fresh mushrooms may also be added. It will give 4 servings.

Yummy Holiday Yams


  • 6 cups                                       peeled yams (cut into 1/2- to 1-inch cubes)

  • 4 tbsp cooking oil

  • 3 tbsp                                        maple syrup

  • 1 g                                             Stevia Sachet

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/8 tsp. pepper (optional)

  • Preheat oven to 350oF.

  • Toss the cubed yams and oil together and spread the coated cubes onto a parchment-lined cookie or baking sheet. Put salt and optional pepper.

  • Bake to desired softness.

  • While yams bake, combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl.

  • When yams are done, toss the yams with the syrup mixture and serve.

Southwestern Gazpacho Soup


  • 6 medium tomatoes (chopped)

  • 2 small cucumbers (chopped)

  • 1 medium sweet onion (diced)

  • 1 tsp salt (to taste)

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce

  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup                                      parsley or cilantro (chopped)

  • 3 cloves                                     chopped garlic

  • 1 drop                                        Fosstevia Liquid

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender and adjust seasonings to taste. Serve in a bowl, and garnish.

Hot Cocoa


  • 3 drops                                   Fosstevia Liquid

  • 2 cups                                     unsweetened almond milk/coconut milk or soy milk

  • 2 cups                                     water

  • 1 tsp                                        agave syrup (optional)

  • 1 tsp                                        vanilla extract 

  • Put all of the ingredients except vanilla in saucepan and place on medium to low heat.

  • Allow the mixture to warm to the desired temperature, stirring occasionally.

  • Add the vanilla, pour into mugs and enjoy. It will make 4 servings.

Note : Be careful not to scorch the cocoa. Use a pan with a heavy bottom and watch closely.
